Redemption Penalties Spain

New Spanish mortgage laws states that-

  • The maximum fees for early redemption penalties partial or total can not be higher than 0.5% in the first 5 years
  • The maximum fees for early redemption penalties partial or total after the first 5 years can be no more than 0.25%

This new law is great news for property purchasers/owners in Spain.
