Percentage Drop

Bulgarian National Bank main interest Percentage dropped suddenly from 3.53% in April to 2.27% on the 1st of May.  This is a decrease of 1.26%.

This is the lowest point the main interest percentage has achieved since Febuary 2006.

Despite a slight increase in April, since the beginning of the year the central bank has made several reductions, leaving the main interest rate practically halved.
